Q. Technology – Implementations for Space

Place:
Noordwijk (The Netherlands)
Date:
November 20, 2018

ESTEC, the European Space Research and Technology Centre of ESA, will host the 3rd workshop on “Quantum Technology – Implementations for Space” in November 2018. The workshop is organised in collaboration with QTSpace.

Quantum Technology commercialisation programmes aim at turning well known but little used quantum effects into commercial products and help create the associated supply chain. Technology development programmes at ESA have traditionally helped push terrestrial technology innovation and, at the same time, greatly benefitted from existing terrestrial high-end technology supply chains. The purpose of the workshop is to identify possible areas of collaboration for the implementation of Quantum Technologies in space with the Quantum Technology commercialisation programmes that have recently emerged within the ESA member states.

The workshop will be held at ESTEC premises in Noordwijk, The Netherlands on 20-21 November 2018.
